Madam Fatimata Khady Sy is a strategic development professional with over two decades of experience fostering positive change in underserved communities. Her career spans multiple countries, including Gabon, Senegal, and Côte d'Ivoire, demonstrating her commitment to global development.
Multilingual in French, English, Pulaar, and Wolof, Madam Sy has held pivotal roles at the Senegal Ministry of Justice and served over twenty years at the World Bank, where she excelled in program management, strategic planning, and community development.

Madam Sy is the founding President of the Fulani Women's Association of North America (FUWANA). She has led initiatives focused on community development, education, environmental sustainability, women's empowerment, and healthcare support. She has been particularly instrumental in empowering rural women, girls, and youth throughout West Africa.
She is the author of an empowering and educational resource for teenage girls, the Adolescent Menstrual Hygiene: A Handbook.
